Privacy Policy

1. Fundamental Principles

• Default Anonymity: No user account is required. We do not collect names, emails, or phone numbers.
• Zero Advertising: The Application contains no third-party advertising SDKs and performs no commercial profiling.
• Data Sovereignty: Almost all of your personal data remains exclusively on your device.

2. Detailed Permissions Analysis

A. Location (GPS and Network)

Permissions: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION and ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.
Usage: Used exclusively to calculate accurate Prayer Times (via the adhan library) and determine the Qibla direction. Geocoding is used to display your city name for calculation confirmation.
Processing: GPS coordinates are processed locally. They are never sold, shared, or stored on our servers.

B. Microphone and Voice Search

Permission: RECORD_AUDIO.
Usage: Used strictly for the Voice Search feature (via speech_to_text). The app does not listen or record anything outside of search sessions manually activated by the user.

C. Audio and Background Playback

Permissions: FOREGROUND_SERVICE, WAKE_LOCK.
Usage: Allows recitation (via just_audio) or Text-to-Speech (via flutter_tts) to continue without interruption when you lock your screen. The Wake Lock prevents premature audio cut-offs.

D. Internet Connection and Network State

Permissions: INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE.
Usage: To download audio files, translations, and Quran page images (via cached_network_image). Network state helps optimize downloads based on your connection type (Wi-Fi/Data).

E. Notifications

Permission: POST_NOTIFICATIONS.
Usage: To send you reminders for Prayer Times (Adhan) or scheduled reading notifications.

F. File Access and Local Storage

Permission: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / File Picker.
Usage: Allows you to import/export backup data or select custom audio files.
Mechanism: The app uses sqflite to store your favorites, notes, and reading statistics (visualized via fl_chart) locally.

3. Third-party Services

We use content services to enhance the user experience:

• Media Content: Audio files and images are provided by recognized, secure Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
• Fonts: Use of Google Fonts may involve standard technical requests to their servers for text rendering.
• Sharing: The "Share" function uses your system's native tools; no data is transmitted to third parties without your explicit action.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Duration: Your local data remains on your phone as long as the Application is installed.
Deletion: To erase your data, you can clear the app cache in your phone settings or simply uninstall the application. Since we do not host your data, deletion is immediate and irreversible once the app is removed.

5. Your Rights

In compliance with GDPR, you maintain total control:

• Right of Access: Your data is accessible directly through the app interface.
• Withdrawal of Consent: You can revoke permissions (Location, Microphone, Notifications) at any time in your phone's system settings.
